If it's not one thing, its another.
Bought an 88 Ranger for 300 bucks, said it was locked up. Pulled the motor, flywheel fell off. R2 the flywheel, new gasket set for the motor, in it went. Now someone else had started pulling the motor and I found some diked wires. Everything else in played with the type IV module and started it up.
Ran real rough, so I played with the timing and the Inertia switch took a dump, then the ignition module and now I have fule, and spark and the SOB won't start, let alone run right. When it did, I knew a cylinder wasn't firing, I pulled and reset one plug at a time and with #6 pulled it ran the same way....rough. I have power to all the injectors and the damned haynes autozone manual don't show me squat for the wiring harness. Has someone had this problem before?
The only wores diked left are in a bundle by the firewall. An Orange one with a Grounding clasp on the end. A Black w/Green, Yellow w/green, and yellow/red.
Help please
Jason
oh, and I can't get the code scanner to work
