If it's not one thing, its another.

Bought an 88 Ranger for 300 bucks, said it was locked up. Pulled the motor, flywheel fell off. R2 the flywheel, new gasket set for the motor, in it went. Now someone else had started pulling the motor and I found some diked wires. Everything else in played with the type IV module and started it up.
Ran real rough, so I played with the timing and the Inertia switch took a dump, then the ignition module and now I have fule, and spark and the SOB won't start, let alone run right. When it did, I knew a cylinder wasn't firing, I pulled and reset one plug at a time and with #6 pulled it ran the same way....rough. I have power to all the injectors and the damned haynes autozone manual don't show me squat for the wiring harness. Has someone had this problem before?

The only wores diked left are in a bundle by the firewall. An Orange one with a Grounding clasp on the end. A Black w/Green, Yellow w/green, and yellow/red.

Help please

Jason

oh, and I can't get the code scanner to work

If this orange wire is on the passenger side and near the head in the ingnition harness/bundle and it has a connector that will accept an 8mm boolt then this is supposed to be bolted into the back of the head near the bottom. I just bolted mine to the intake on the passenger side.

If you can tell me where the wires are I can check on them and even check on my 86 and see fi I can figure out which ones they are.

Sorry took so long to gat back, well, the rest of the wires are on the master harness on the firewall on the passengers side, no connector on them. The Orange ground wire comes from the same bundle. Thanx man
