Anyone that has done the CCV mod on a PSD. How much smoke do you get out of the tube? I get a pretty steady stream of smoke out of the tube.

Do you have enough blow by that if you loosen up your oil fill cap it blows off? If not you are fine.:cool:

Don't think it will blow off if I take loosen it :dunno: never tried. There is just a lot of smoke coming out of the CCV. Some say that is a sign of a motor going bad.:dunno:

All Diesel motors have that, don't get to worked up about it just yet. If it does not blow the cap off when it is loosened up, you are fine. How many miles anyway?

If it smokes too much for you, just run a catch can or filter, or route it into your exhaust. TDS has lots of info.

I will check that today maybe after I get rid of my hangover!!

I have read about the catch can and I was going to build one and just thought I would ask. I am not really worried about it. Motor is pretty high miles........~89K:lmao::lmao:

took the cap off while it was running and it just sat there so I am guessing it is just fine.
