Anyone running this system? What do you think of it? I am looking at getting the 2bbl 670cfm system.

well not running it yet. but do know it is a pretty good system. but pricey. im after the 4 brl. or 4 injecter system myself.
one thing about it is if it goes out on the road u can put a carb on and still run.

that's about the only good part of this system. It's expensive, requires more tuning than a carb, and never really runs right. I've seen several systems installed and not a single one ever ran the way it was supposed to. True story: Alan Jackson (country singer) put a ProJection on his early bronco and couldn't get it to run right. Holley put 3 techs on a plane to Alan's house and they spent 2 days working on it and STILL couldn't get it to run right. 3 Holley techs and no success? For more money than a stock SEFI system costs? No thanks.

I've never heard anything good about the projection (other than you can replace it with a carb easy).
There are several variations of factory ford injection systems that will bolt on, that I can't see spending $ on something like that. Anything from early 80's CFI to the 89-93 Mustang MAF SEFI will work better than a carb for severe off road use. You should be able to find a good mustang setup for 0-300 dollars if you look around, and if you can't find that, one of the central injection jobs work pretty well too, tho not as efficient (basically FACTORY setup versions of Projection) I've bought complete running motors for 300. If you think it will be too tough to install, then just absolutely forget about the Holley kit. I've spoken to probably a dozen people who have used it, and not one who was completely satisfied with it. several of these people eventually went with EEC-IV Ford parts, and kicked themselves for not doing it sooner.

No one I know that has used the Pro Jection has ever said anything good about them. If you are stuck on this type of system I would contact "Howell". They make the same type of system. Basicly it's the chevy TBI. Several Jeep owners I know use the Howell unit and are happy with them.
