Or you could just go to www.gorancho.com and download the pdf's that have everything... It ain't very hard and alot ewasier to find. Thats how I found out the 5012's are the only shocks long enough to use in the rear of a ranger with 6" lift they're 6" longer in every aspect than 5010's.

Problem is with Rancho is they are $$$ specially when
ya get into the LONG shit.. what i did for my SAS converions
is i went down to www.national4wd.com and looked at there
chart for LONG shocks under skyjacker shocks ( cheap shit)
what i found was this.....
Rear 6" suspension lift shocks for a full size chevy compressed
are 17.5" fully opened they measure out to be 32.5 " I paid
$45a pop for my shocks ( canadian EACH) which are ment for the
rear of a chevy fullsize but what i did was i made a custome shock
mounts for the front to make these work it saved me some money
and yet at the same time gives me the room to flex with the wristed
arms :-)
Ranchoo shocks are cool and all but when ya get into there long travel
shocks they can be $$
DaveM
Example: The new RS 9016's or whatever they may be called
measure out to an extended lenght of like 34.5" somewere around there
But they are also $ 150 a POP Canadian... I got pretty much the same
shocks ( give or take a few lost Inches) but saved allot of money too...
BUt ya it depends on the budget and what you want and what you want to do and what not also..

Well the thing I ran in to was when I put the mount on the top of the rear tube, it cuts off like 5-6" of the shock length. So be careful when you do your measuring.
Just posted it for an easy reference, thats all.

Ya put the mounts directly on top of the tube? How'd that work out? Stock upper locations?

Yes, stock upper. I moved them to around the 10 and 2 o'clock positions, to get the a little more up and down, less angle is way better.
I plan on setting up something different for the rear, maybe a hoop or something.
