RRORC Board Rules/Guidelines

This is long, but it is absolutely necessary for you all to read in full

Guidelines for Board Use

This board is provided for free by the Rough Rangers Off-Road Club.

It is here for members and non-members to come, gather, spread information, stories, and share their love of Off Roading. It is not a place where making trouble and causing problems are accepted.

Your registration to this board can be deleted at any time.

What follows is a description, forum by forum, of how things should be handled when you make a post.

So let's begin.

Rough Rangers Radio

All posts here should be either related to the Rough Rangers Off-Road Club, Ranger based vehicles, and/or off-roading (trucks, SUVs, land use, etc) in general.

Wanted / For Sale

If you are selling something or are needing something post here and ONLY here.

If you post in the "Wanted / For Sale" forum and in another forum, your post will be deleted from the other forum.

Posts from scam artists will not be tolerated and will be deleted immediately. Their registration to this board will also go under review.

Undercutting will not be tolerated. If John Q. Taxpayer is selling a set of tires for $100 and someone is interested, please do not make a reply stating that you will sell your identical tires for less. What you can do is make a new post stating that your tires are for sale for whatever price.

When you have sold something, either delete the entire thread (if you made the original post, you can kill an entire thread) or contact Alx and he will take care of it for you.

If someone you have encountered has burned you in the past and you would like to state how untrustworthy that seller is, please do so. however, please have justification for it. When doing so, please be polite. Don't flame them. It'll get deleted.

Off-Topic

Anything goes here within reason.

You can make a post and link to whatever you want, however, there is a forum disclaimer....read it, follow it!

Regional Forums

Please keep the posts there relevant to what is happening in your respective region.

If someone is posting non-relevant things, contact the Moderator of that forum.

Board Functionality

As of right now, if you have questions/problems pertaining to the inner workings of the board, please an executive or a moderator of the forums.

That takes care of the individual forums.

Overall, please conduct yourselves as best you can while posting in every forum. If you want to vent, let loose, or share a joke, please do so in Off-Topic.

Please utilize the Private Messaging system

If you have a quick note you want to tell someone, send them a PM or an email. Please do not make a post it in the Rough Rangers Radio.

Please try to keep your signatures within reason. A simple quote or two, some links to your trucks, and a brief description is more than enough. We don't need to know the type of oil filter you are using.

There is a search function which allows you to search every forum, the archives, or an individual forum, for the information you desire. Before you post with a question, please make a quick search and it is possible that the question you are asking has already been answered.

Please try to stick to these rules. They aren't difficult to follow and will let you find what you are looking for much easier and quicker.
